UltimateNote
Notes & Tasks for every day
UltimateNote is a personal productivity app: a daily task list that rolls over, custom lists and notes, projects with daily updates, voice notes that become tasks, reminders, Google Calendar sync and sharing with colleagues. Available for Android, Windows and the web, with one account kept in sync.
Windows: installer (no admin rights needed) — portable zip also available.
Today, every day
One main list per day. Unfinished tasks roll over to tomorrow, finished ones go to the archive, recurring tasks come back on their days.
Lists & notes
Custom lists for groceries, ideas or work items, and notes with Markdown, checklists, pins and attachments.
Projects
Each ongoing project puts an “Update — project” item on your list every day, so progress gets written down.
Voice & AI
Record a voice note or a Google Meet call; it is transcribed, summarised and turned into tasks, and every call lands on the Meetings tab with its date, attendees and recording.
Calendar & reminders
A month view of your days, task and note reminders, and two-way sync with Google Calendar if you connect it.
Work / Personal
Two separate spaces with their own lists, notes, projects and calendar — switch with one tap.
Share with colleagues
Invite people by e-mail to a list or project as viewers or editors and see an activity feed.
Everywhere, offline
Android app, Windows app with sticky notes and a tray icon, and this web app — all kept in sync.
Chrome extension: Meet Recorder
Record a Google Meet call from your own browser tab. The recording is transcribed, summarised and turned into a meeting note with action items as tasks (optionally on a project, with the summary posted as the project update). Chrome desktop 116 or newer.
- Download the zip and extract it: you get a folder named
ultimatenote-meet-recorder. - Open
chrome://extensions, switch on Developer mode (top right), click Load unpacked and pick that folder. Pin the extension from the puzzle icon. - Click the extension → Options: paste an API key from the app (Settings → Account → API keys → New key), allow the microphone once and choose the list for the action items.
- In a Meet call, click the extension icon → Record meeting; press Stop when the call ends and wait for the notification.
Chrome only installs extensions from outside the Web Store this way; the zip is the extension's source folder, nothing is executed on your computer besides the extension itself.
Works with Claude Code
UltimateNote has an MCP server, so Claude Code can read your lists and projects, add tasks and tick them off while it works. Create an API key in the app (Settings → API keys), then register the server once:
claude mcp add --transport http ultimatenote https://ultimatenote.ysalk.com/api/v1/mcp/ --header "X-API-Key: <your API key>"
Copy a project's ID from its ⋮ menu to tell Claude where tasks belong, or a task's ID from the task dialog to have Claude work on that task. Settings → Claude Code (MCP) in the app shows the command with your real key and a per-repository .mcp.json.
How UltimateNote uses your Google account
You can sign in with Google (we receive your e-mail, name and profile picture). If you choose to connect Google Calendar, UltimateNote asks for permission to read and write your calendar events so that dated tasks appear in your calendar and calendar events appear on your list. Calendar data is used only for that sync, is never sold or used for advertising, and you can disconnect at any time from Settings. Details are in the Privacy Policy.
